Dr. Chung is grateful that she gets to form deep connections with her patients while she uses her artistic talents and knowledge to improve their smiles. Seeing someone’s face light up when they look at their final result for the first time always brings her joy! She’s eager to offer you her expertise.
Dr. Chung was always interested in art and fashion when she was young, and she wanted to go into a career that would involve creating things with her hands. Her decision to become a doctor was solidified when her father was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. She felt helpless and strived to do something that would allow her to change people’s lives for the better.
Dr. Chung earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of New Orleans, and during this time, she published her first research paper and won multiple awards. After graduation, she worked at the U.S. Department of Agriculture where she received the renowned George and Eleanore Meade Award.
Dr. Chung then attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine for her DMD degree, and while there, her research earned first place in the Hinman National Research Competition as well as an NIH Scholarship. Finally, she did her specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Chung is married and has two beautiful daughters. Most of her free time is dedicated to her family, and she enjoys going to farmer’s markets, sports classes, and travel. Dr. Chung also plays violin and is the lead vocalist in her church band.
